Our services

Biogas EPC for Palm Oil Mills

Turn mill effluent into energy and revenue.

Feedstock
Palm oil mill effluent (POME)
System
Geomembrane covered lagoon
Scope
Design, supply, construction & commissioning
Contract
Turnkey EPC

From open ponds to a sealed biogas plant.

Palm oil mill effluent left in open ponds releases methane straight into the air. Sealing the anaerobic pond with a geomembrane liner and floating cover captures that gas, which can then fuel boilers or gas engines for power, cutting the mill's emissions and energy costs at the same time.

Indramas delivers biogas EPC from A to Z: design, supply, construction and commissioning under one contract. A lower-emission operation also strengthens the mill's position when selling crude palm oil to export markets.
