What is Terracell?
Terracell geocell is an innovative three-dimensional cellular system made from durable HDPE, designed to stabilize soil and control erosion across a wide range of infrastructure and landscape applications — from slope reinforcement to road base stabilization.
Terracell works by confining fill material within its cellular structure, preventing lateral movement and distributing loads to surrounding cells. This confining effect reduces stress on the subgrade below, enabling a base layer up to 3 times thinner than conventional construction while extending service life and lowering operational and maintenance costs.
The HDPE material is UV-resistant and chemically inert, ensuring long-term structural integrity even in harsh environments. Terracell is suitable for use with gravel, cement, topsoil, or concrete fill — making it adaptable to virtually any project requirement.
